As a well-established brand in Europe, Constructor is expanding its operations in North America, particularly focusing on automation solutions.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee projects within the warehouse automation sector, specifically focused on racking systems for automation solutions. This role will involve managing projects ranging from $1M to $15M, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project execution while leading site teams. This is a highly autonomous role with occasional travel required to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget for warehouse automation projects, including racking for shuttle systems, mini-loads, and ASRS.
- Be customer-facing and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage a site team of one direct colleague and other necessary resources to ensure project success.
- Report to the CEO and Senior Operations Manager regarding project progress, risks, and issues.
- Utilize project management tools to track milestones and deadlines, ensuring optimal project performance.
Financial Goals
- Manage projects with budgets ranging from $1M to $15M.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct project management experience in the warehouse automation or construction sectors.
- Qualifications: Engineering degree (required) and PMP certification (preferred).
- Background: Proven experience in warehouse automation, particularly with ASRS, shuttle systems, and racking solutions.
- Languages: Fluent in English.
- Previous Roles: Project Manager, Site Manager, or similar roles in the automation or construction industry.
- Personality: Driven, hungry, builder mindset, goal-oriented, and a curious learner with a humble approach.
- Key Companies: Experience with ASRS, shuttle systems, racking, or similar automation solutions is highly desirable.
