The University Paris 7 - Denis Diderot is the first multidisciplinary university of France. It accomodates about 26 000 students, in 3 sectors: Sciences, Letters and Arts and Medecine. This library will be one of the most important university libraries built in France for a long time. The University decided to create a big central library that it had always missed.

At A Glance:

Bruynzeel equipped 2 stock areas (1000m2 and 250m2), with many accesories, shelves,buttresses of 75mm of hight and suspended book ends and descreptive end panels. The client requested that the mobile bases be made in 11m length, The large room is equipped with 8 zones including each one 6 bases. The small room is equipped with a zone including 11 bases. Fixed Sysco shelving is installed along the wall. All together, this installation represents 10km of shelves.
