FJ Industries consists of two divisions - FJ Sintermetal who specialise in the manufacture of powder metal parts in steel and stainless steel, and FJ Automotive who manufacture and sell a wide range of stamped, cast, forged and sintered flanges for the production of new vehicles as well as the after market. In addition, the company manufactures cast, forged and machined parts in steel and stainless steel for industrial use.
So when FJ Industries built a new 620 m2 warehouse and wanted to obtain as many pallet spaces as possible, they needed a strong and robust pallet racking system.
Solution:
Starting from the height of the roof construction, Constructor’s technical staff designed a tailor-made mobile rack installation with 3 different upright heights.
This MOVO mobile pallet racking installation contains upright heights of 5.5, 6.5 and 7.5m. The system has a storage capacity of 2688 pallet spaces and each open aisle gives access to 512 pallet spaces. The load capacity per pair of beams is 4000 kg.
Cable cross-arms have been mounted for drive-through which means that the system can be operated from both sides.
